Musical Youth
New talent is not being supported in Scunthorpe, so there were calls for practise rooms and a venue for young people.

To Chav and to hold
Do you like different types of music? Then you might be put into a social group according to what you listen to. Our group suggest that there is more done to encourage different groups to mix instead of causing trouble.

Sport for all?
Scunthorpe youth want a place to exercise that isn't just for adults so that they can feel comfortable. There were calls for a dance studio and better use of existing facilities.

iTown #1 - Boroughbridge   iTown #2 - Bedale
imageBoroughbridge was our first iTownMyTown.

Taking place over 3 days, a group of 8 – 12 teenagers worked with our creative team to create videos & podcasts tackling issues with sports facilities, litter, crank callers, and having nothing to do!

bedaleTaking place over a rainy weekend, our Bedale group used video and podcast radio shows to tackle subjects such as shopping, traffic congestion, unfair fares, the lack of facilities, such as internet cafes and cinemas.

grimsbyOur Grimbsby group spent a weekend creating radio shows and videos about youth space, vandalism, environmental issues, and the town's football team.
